In 2015, we bought our first home-a complete fixer upper. As we did all the renovating ourselves and having a much bigger home to fill, it was hard to find quality products at affordable prices. Is anything made of real wood anymore?! Floating shelves were a must in our new kitchen, and not only couldn’t we find the very specific sizes we needed, but the custom ones we did find, looked “DIY”. High quality craftsmanship is something we really pride ourselves in, and hope that you can appreciate fine workmanship as much as we do.

What’s up guys! I’m a happy family man, a bit of a perfectionist at times, and I enjoy working with my hands. Starting from scratch and seeing a completed project that brings other people joy gives me such a feeling of accomplishment. My hope is that this becomes my legacy to my family. I love solving problems and learning new things.

Howdy, I’m Alex and have been working alongside my Dad since the beginning. I grew up with a passion for real estate so I quickly grew to love the work we do. I’ve really learned more than I could’ve ever imagined. I couldn’t be more grateful to be working with family while doing the things I love. Hey, hey! I’m Julia, married to that handsome guy up there. My father has instilled in me a love for carpentry, and Troy has taught me quite a bit about fine woodworking over the years. I love working with power tools and bringing Troy some of my crazy ideas to figure out! I’m also the one who is likely to answer all of your emails, and handle our online presence including social media and website/shop updates. I am very much a creative person and absolutely love all aspects of design and decorating!

Our Tribe
Although we love living by the shore, we consider ourselves “urban farmers” living in the suburbs with 4 chickens, a home grown garden, and a spunky chocolate lab, Roxy! Fishing, camping, hiking, and going to the creek are some of our favorite things to do.
